Maggie Kate and her weekly Science experiment.....Fun With Bubbles!

Maggie Kate is in Mrs. Brown's first grade class this year. Each week she has a Science experiment. The experiments always consist of a story pertaining to the experiment, most of the materials, a form for the children to explain the outcome, and of course directions on what to do. This week it was home made bubbles. We mixed up all the ingredients, then we got out the pipe cleaner, the straw, and the strawberry carton (which were our instruments in blowing the bubbles)and we all had a blast. They were the best bubbles we have ever played with! The out come for the experiment was that the pipe cleaner gave us big bubbles, the straw gave us tiny bubbles, and the strawberry carton gave us clusters of bubbles :)
If you want to make bubbles this is what you need:
1/4 Cup Dish washing Detergent
1 Cup Water
1 Tablespoon of Sugar
Pipe cleaners (to create your own circle thingy)
Straws
Strawberry Carton (I think these are hard to find now. They are the green ones with little squares out of the bottom and sides.)
