At home on a sick day...

Mallory stayed home again today even thought she had not had a fever since yesterday morning, she was still weak and I wanted to make sure her meds had kicked in. This morning after we took the kids to school the two of us just curled up together and we read a new book she got last week. Her appetite is back and her sweet tooth was calling so we made cookies together. We had so much fun just the two of us hanging out in our pjs all day eating cookies, reading a good book, and we even got to take a nap.

I am so glad she is better. It is so scary when your kids are sick and you feel like there is nothing you can do about it. Mallory is such a sweet girl always in a good mood and always happy with a smile on her face...even when she is sick!
