I love my veteran husband! Michael served in the Marines for 4 years. While in the Marines he was stationed in Hawaii for most of the time, but spent 9 months in Japan. He served in the Gulf War and got sent home early due to a knee injury that required immediate surgery, and lots of PT. When Michael would come home on leave, my world would completely stop! We spent as much time as we could together. We were always so sad when he would have to go back, but we kept in touch with mail and phone. It did not matter what time it was (mostly at 3am) when he called my mom always woke me up to talk to him, and that was not something she did. He stole her heart too!
Thank you for the time you spent serving our country. I love you, you are one in a million!!!
Many thanks to all who have served and are now serving to keep us safe.

LOVE that picture!
Amazing Heather, I never knew this about your husband! I have so much respect for any person, especially the young ones who willingly choose to protect and serve our country, especially in these times. But, to be a marine! We have recently been aquainted with 2 ex marines. They coach with Bill. You can just point them out through their walk and their stance. I am so grateful for the service and time and sacrifice that he has given as all service men and women. Love it, especially since we just celebrated Veterans Day! He looks good in his uniform. My dad was in the navy. I am sucker for a man in a uniform. (excluding the UPS uniform, of course) LOL
You win... The first blog post to make me cry!
Michael is one of a kind. You guys are so sweet and cute together. I love your beautiful family. With our crazy lives, I am so glad we have blogging to keep us in touch.
Oh how sweet.
Thanks for serving our country, Michael. And thanks Heather for the post to remind us of those who have served.
What a cutie!
