Bedtime
As you can see here, all the kids sleep with me. I thought we could try something new when it came to our sleeping arrangement. I decided from now on only one at a time will sleep with me instead of all 4. We have a thing where each child has a certain day of the week that they are the one who says the family prayer each time we say one that day. I thought it would be nice to just designate that whole day to that child and end it by only that child sleeping with me instead of all 4. How's it going? It only lasted 3 nights. It has just torn Maggie Kate to pieces, not to mention broke my heart. So, I am laying here with my computer, crammed in my bed with all 4 kids. I have to say I love it this way! They're only little once right?

Hey Heather! It's your cousin Carrie - I found your blog!! I always say that about Sophie - when I break "the rules" - she's only little once!
Your family is beautiful. I don't know how you do it with 4 kids!! I am trying to keep my head above water with 1 and wonder what in the world like it going to be like when Sam comes home!
I have a hard time sleeping in the same bed as my husband. I cannot imagine any kids in bed with us! I don't think any of them have ever slept with us. We stuck them all in their beds, in their own rooms from the day they came home from the hospital!
How do you sleep?
when Bil is out of town my children sleep in my bed too. I think it is for me. I feel safer knowing they are all within an arms distance. Spencer is too big, literally so he stays in his room, but early early he will come in and still weasle his way next to me. For our family it makes us closer and just a part of who we are. Cynthia, I don't sleep very well with them all piled - I will stay there until I can't take it and sometimes I will head out to Makela's queen bed. Then slowly one by one they find me and we have 5 in a queen instead of a king! I should have stayed put! LOL
