I got an email yesterday from a friend I grew up with. It was about the 80's. As I was showing the email to the kids, we started talking about how much things have changed. We talked about how different music is now. This has made me want to listen to some of the good old 80's music. I use to be so in love with Jon Bon Jovi. I went to 3 of his concerts. I loved Michael Jackson too! I got to go to one of the Jackson 5 concerts.... I made a glove with sequins all over it to wear. I can not believe I am even going to admit this, but I use to break it down with some break dancing when I was in the 6th grade to the 80's Breakdance Mix. Parachute pants, spiked hair spray painted blue (only while preforming), the whole nine yards...what was I thinking? I watched that break dance movie that came out over and over. I even go my hair cut like the girl in the movie. Ha Ha
This is the reason for the music...I am jamming out to the 80's today!!! I am going to turn it up really loud when the kids get home...Do you think they will like it?

Oh the memories!! Do you have pictures? Our kids thought it was so funny when we were telling them about the 80s.... parachute pants, pegged pants, leg warmers, collars turned up, lots of hairspray, blue eyeshadow, mullets or tails for the guys, etc. We got out yearbooks and the movie Karate Kid to show them we weren't making it up. Those songs remind me Stake Dances. My brother recently posted pictures of me from that time, and I didn't realize how "cool" I looked... HA HA! Ü

This is why we get along so well!! I used to buy 80's cds like 80-82 and so on. Nothing tops the movies then either..Pretty in Pink!!
