I can not believe I am 35 years old today! I feel like I am still 18...Really! It is a little scary to think in 5 years I will be 40. That just does not seem possible. Time just goes by to fast.
I had a great day! The phone started ringing at 6am with birthday wishes. All the kids got up first thing with birthday hugs for me. I had to be in Nashville @ 8am so I dropped the kids off at Gretchen's for her to help me get them to school. She met me at the door with the cutest gift! It was a set of luggage, black with white polka dots. I love it!!! (I wanted to post pictures, but my camera is dead and I left my charger at Mama C's over Easter.) When I got home from Nash. I just sat on the couch, watched some TV, and took a nap. Wow! What a treat to me!! This afternoon we went out to celebrate my day with some Mexican, topped off with a hot fudge cake from Shoney's. Maggie made up a new name for guacamole while we were eating our Mexican...she asked her dad if it was ogre poop?? Funny kid! When we got home Michael and the kids surprised me with some new shrubs, some gorgeous plants for the porch, and new Asics tennis shoes. To end the night we all piled up in the bonus room for American Idol...my favorite! I had a fun, relaxing, happy day without a single April fools joke played on me!

I know what you mean about still feeling 18! I don't feel a bit different either! I cannot believe I will be 33 in 4 more days! It sounds like you had a wonderul day just doing sweet stuff with your family...those are the best!

Happy Birthday! What a great day you had. I like the nap part the best, but then I've had several more birthdays than you and need the rest! Thirty-five is still very young!!!!!!

Happy Birthday my dear friend. I still remember when 30 was old...35 feels so young now! I am so glad I get to share these fun years of raising kiddos with such an amazing person. I couldn't do it without you! You are a great mom and wonderful example to me always. I hope the big #35 was a great one!!!
