Mallory's Birthday Party

(I love the "talk a bit" and "play as much as we can" so cute!)

Mallory is such a little organizer and planner. She has always been this way. Her 1st Grade teacher told me that anytime she needed something in the room organized she would just ask Mallory and it was always done to perfection. I love that she is this way. I wish I had her wonderful skills. She started planning her birthday party weeks in advance. I just love her itinerary she made for everyone. When she showed this to me she explained that she would greet them at the door and hand them their itinerary while welcoming them to her party.

I found Mallory like this about an hour before the party. Waiting and watching!
Everyone is here...let the party begin!Doing nails.Mallory taking charge and making sure everyone gets the color they want. She wanted a cookie cake for her party. I thought she did a great job!(You may want to turn your volume down for the video....Maggie Kate holds the end note a little long & a little to loud!) :)

She ordered homemade pizza & bread-sticks with Doritos for dinner....pretty nutritious don't you think? We got the pool ready just in time for the party!
Mallory got High-school Musical Sing It for the Wii. The girls were jammin' all night!

The party was a hit. We even got to have one of the little girls for two nights! Mallory has been on a cloud for 3 days ...she loves socialization!

This sounds like the coolest party ever! I bet they had so much fun! I love having birthday parties at our house for my kids! Many people say they are too much trouble...but I enjoy every minute of them. They are only little once!

You know what I love about this party? It was at home and all planned by her.

I am sorry. I am in the THICK of bday season (three in a row) and am starting to feel the PRESSURE to rent something/invite the class/order a cake/etc. But I am holding out. I just remember my bday parties being at home - you know? Friends over, giggling, and mom making the cake (I was a terrible cook even back then)

Ella had soooo much fun. She especially loved the extra night that was just the two of them!! Thanks so much for having her, especially with me being gone to Girls Camp.

We laughed REALLY hard at the video. They were having a blast, weren't they!
