Ok, I know I may be a little biased, but Mitchell has to be one of the sweetest brothers I know. He has such a big heart when it comes to his sisters. He is always willing to help them out when they need him. He is very good at giving them advice , always trying to make things better for them. Now don't get me wrong, he does his fair share of teasing and there are times he can get a little to bossy with them, that's when I have to remind him who the parents are. All in all though he is an awesome brother!
The other day while I was getting ready I heard a cry from Maggie Kate. She comes into my room and tells me that Mitchell got ice cream from the ice cream man and she wanted some too. I was upset that Mitchell had even gone outside, (not to mention get ice cream from the ice cream man) with out me knowing. So I had to remind him how dangerous that was to go up to the ice cream truck without me being aware, something he is old enough to know, but he thought it was OK since he asked Meredith. Anyway, he started to feel bad that he was the only one with a treat and could not bare to eat his ice cream in front of his sisters when they didn't have any. He divided that one four ways, then later that afternoon the truck came again. Mitchell ran inside, got his sisters, grabbed his money and bought ice cream for all three of his sisters. Sweet boy!!!

Mitchell - taking charge and taking orders!
A couple of days ago Mallory and Maggie thought it would be a good idea to make a club house in Mitchell's closet. He was more than willing to let them (which is huge for him because he such a perfectionist with his things and likes order in his closet!) He went in to rearrange all his shoes and helped them set it up. That afternoon while I was making dinner I could hear lots of laughter coming from behind a closed door. I went up to his room and this is what I found. Even Meredith was playing in the so called "club house".

He always keeps us laughing with his silly faces too! We love our Mitchell and his sisters are sure lucky to have him!!
