A quick snapshot before we went to the recital. Michael was standing behind me making faces...that's why Max's tongue is sticking out! This is for all the family members that couldn't attend the recital :) Make sure to pause the blog music so you can hear the piano .

Meredith and Maggie Kate with their teacher, Sister Hill...we love, love, love her!

Maggie Kate absolutely LOVES piano! She begs me to let her take it two times a week! Her teacher discovered a couple of months ago that she has perfect pitch. Her teacher was singing a song and trying to play it without the music. She kept hitting the wrong notes. Maggie Kate finally pointed the notes out to her, then Maggie Kate played the song for her teacher. Her teacher then asked her if she had heard the song before...no was the answer. Then, her teacher just started singing different songs and Maggie would play them instantly. We have known since she was very little that she had a special gift with piano because she would hear songs on commercials then go play them right after she heard them. The other kids have so much fun watching her play. They get so amazed at her talent. Mitchell had her playing all kinds of different songs the other night. He would hum them and she would play them, right then! He says he thinks she is so amazing its kinda freaks him out!

cute! You're going to have to give me your piano teacher's info. We just got a piano and have been looking to get Ethan started.
Heather I grew up with a girl who was amazing and could do the same thing. She had fingers like lightning and a beautiful voice as well. That is a special gift. She is so lucky! I wish I had it!
While watching the video I also noticed that for a young player she has VERY good timing as well. Could I get her autograph now?
Your video of both of your girls made me wish that I stuck with piano and or put my children in piano lessons. Good job!
