Last Tuesday marked 6 months since we met our little Max. He has come so far since then. He amazes us every day! His English is AMAZING!!! He is SO smart! And he has grown so much. He has already out grown the clothes we bought him in China and most of the jeans we bought after getting home. He keeps telling us he wants to get big and strong like Baba :) He is such a charming and delightful little boy. I wish everyone could have the opportunity to meet him...you all would LOVE him to pieces!

My conversation with Max that morning....Max: (coming downstairs happy as can be...just like every morning!) Good morning Mama.
Me: Good morning Max. Max, today is a special day.
Max: Why Mama?
Me: 6 months ago today was the first time we met you in China.
Max: Oh, Mama I'n so happy you gots me!
Me: Do you remember the day you met Mama and Baba?
Max: Yes, I scaway of you. Max was crying.
Me: I know you were. You were a brave little boy. Mama and Baba were so happy to finally meet you. We waited so long to meet you.
Max: I'n not scaway anymore. Mama and Baba loves Max. I'n so excited you gots me. Why you not come so long?
Me: We had lots of paper work to do. It took a long time, huh?
Max: Loutsa (not sure of the spelling, it's his nanny) show Max pictures and she says, this is you Mama and Baba. They will come get you soon. Mama, I'n so excited you come get Max. I love you mama! (with a big hug)
Me: I love you too buddy!!!

He is getting so big!!!!! And he is quite a handsome little guy! He fits right in with your beautiful crew!!! So happy you all "gots" each other!
He is such a little magnet! He is amazing to be aroun with such a sweet spirit. The Solomon's are so glad you gots max too! He has touched our lives like no other!

Oh Heather-- that had me in tears. What a sweet conversation. Today we met the Philburns in the temple (Whitney was going through) and they couldn't say enough good things about Max. I wish so much we could meet him!
