Anyone who knows me very well knows that I live for this time of year. I love, love, love dance recital time. I love to watch my girls dance! I am so glad they love it, too!
Maggie's tap...I loved this dance. It was to the song by the Dixie Chicks called "Some Days You Gotta Dance" (on the blog play list). I think this dance stole the show!
Mitchell was sad to miss his sisters recital but he was in Washington on his class trip. This picture of him was taken the morning he left. He had a great time. He took lots of pictures to show us but Mallory accidentally deleted every one of them!
Meredith had 6 dances, Mallory 4 and Maggie Kate 2. Meredith and Mallory do tap, lyrical, and hip hop. Maggie Kate does tap and ballet. I love to watch each one do all their different dances, but my favorite for Meredith is lyrical, for Mallory hip hop, and for Maggie Kate ballet. I didn't ever get around to posting this last year so I am going to post it now... Each year the dance school gives away an award to the best dancer in each of the different areas. Last year Miss Mallory was awarded "Best Hip Hop Dancer" I have to say (even if it sounds like bragging) she SO deserved it! The girl can move and she is adorable doing it!
