Office...we had to paint this and make it into an office when we put the house on the market, but it was a cute pink girly room. It was Mallory and Maggie Kate's room.
Upstairs bath and bonus.
WOW! We put our house on the market back in Aug. and kept it listed for 90 days with only 1 showing. We took it off the market for the holidays so we could take it easy and enjoy our time together. We had decided at that point we would just stay until May so the kids could finish the year here and we would put our house back on the market in the spring. Well, we put our house back on the market Feb. 27 and we had it sold by March 5th...6 days! The people who bought it made an appointment the day it went on the market for the next day. They came 2 more times that week, and by Friday they knew this was the house for them!
We are happy but a little sad at the same time. We have so many memories here. Michael and I put some major blood, sweat, and tears into building this house. I remember while we were building it mom watched the kids for a week, all except Maggie Kate, she was still a nursing baby. (This was also the beginning of a new tradition..."Stay with Mama C for a week in the summer" tradition) I would bring Maggie Kate with her swing so she could swing while I would lay tile! It was HOT, too...July! After Michael would get off work, he would come lay hardwood. It was hard work, but we loved it! We loved everything about this house :) The day they poured the concrete for the garage, we came over before it dried and carved all the kids names in it. The other day the kids asked me what we were going to do about the names? I told them that was just part of the package (I need to get pics).
Now to go find that home in Georgia...the one with our names all over it!

SO happy for you guys! I know what a stress it is to have your house on the market and to get it sold so quickly is nothing short of a miracle!
Heather, I am glad you sold your house. But I know it is really sad for you all. It will be hard satarting over in a new place. But just think of all the new memories you all will make. Just make sure you keep blogging.
Congrats on the sale and best of luck in finding the perfect new place to build some memories! I guess we should have that "coupon party" pretty soon!
congrats heather! Because our move happened so fast, we chose to just rent our home. I am still having seperation anxiety, so it's nice to know that we still have a spot in NC if we need/want it!
Your home is beautiful. I love the color you chose to do your bathroom. ??for ya, I want to do your family collage that you have in your master. Did you find various frames and hang them from a tapestry rod? I think I will do that for one of our hall walkways.
