As Maggie Kate and Max headed out the door this morning they were both extra excited, because today was the first day for the Running Club! They both signed on the dotted line last week, making each of them a member :). Max has asked me everyday if today was his day to run. He could hardly wait. Maggie Kate has been practicing here at home, trying to get ready! Maggie Kate's grade runs on Mon., Wed., Fri., and Max's grade on Tue., Thur. Today they got to run together since we didn't have school yesterday. The club meets 20 min. before school starts to do their running. They have both decided to train for a kids marathon coming up in December. The coach is keeping track of their miles, and making sure they meet the required miles in order to enter the marathon. We are proud of both of them for their decision to join the club and get active.
