Happy Spring!

Early last March we went house hunting. We looked at 40+ homes within a week. We hadn't ever bought an existing home, but there is no new construction where we moved. We loved everything about this house. It had lots of room. The yard was around an acre. It had a fence. It was in a nice neighborhood. It's location was great. It was zoned for great schools. It had nice big bedrooms, and lots of bathrooms (something we need with 4 females). It had a basement, something we had always wanted. It was perfect! After a week and a half of thinking and praying as to whether this was the right home for us, we drew up a contract. The owners accepted and we were set to close on April 27th.

This picture is the picture I took the day we came to look at the house in early March. Pretty, but Spring hadn't sprung yet! I didn't get to come back down until the last weekend in April, the weekend we closed, AND...
This is what we drove up to...Spring had sprung! We had no idea we had all this beautiful monkey grass and hosta! I thought it was beautiful!
We love it here! We haven't ever had trees like this. I wanted trees! The only problem is we don't have a great stand of grass because of all the shade, but I'll take it...I love my trees!!!
Spring is here once again, and all my pretty perennials are starting to come back...I welcome them. I love Spring!!!
