The pictures the agency send you are precious but pictures with your child in action are priceless. We got a few pics of Sam in the playroom of the baby house from another adoptive mom. It was so cool to see him with his playmates. What a gift!
Yes...there are so many little boys who wait. More people adopt the little girls so there are lots of little boys that get left behind. One couple just got back a couple of weeks ago and she said she could not believe how many little boys were there just waiting...sad.
2 of the little boys in the picture have already come home though :)
Heather, I was working at the airport and this business man came up to board his flight. He had 3 children he had adopted a chinese little girl. They had 2 of their own. His children were 4, a girl, 3, his adopted chinese daughter and 2, his son. They had so much fun. I related thatI knew of someone who was just adopting a little boy from China. He replied that they are in the process of adopting a little boy as well, if not TWO!! That is so awesome! Poor mama is going to be very busy with 4 possibly 5 little ones under the age of FOUR! I know it can be done. Our friends had a set of twins and had 4 children under 4. I am so happy that your answer to adopt happened.
