Priceless Pictures

I recently joined the yahoo group for families adopting from the orphanage where Max is. On this group people share pictures and blogs. I could not believe that the very first day I got on and spotted Max. It was such a thrill to see him and get just a little glimpse into his life. These pictures are priceless to us!!!

He is the one to the right of the little boy standing up looking away.

Look at his sweet face looking up as his nanny hands him his pinwheel.

There he is holding the green pinwheel. It was so funny how quickly I spotted him especially since we only had seen 3 pictures of him that came with our referral. Out of all these little boys I knew within seconds that was our little boy with the red shirt, blue pants, holding the green pinwheel. There is an ancient Chinese belief that when a child is born that there are invisible red threads that connect them to all the significant people that will be part of the child's life. As the child grows the threads shorten, drawing them closer to the people who are destine to be together.

I truly felt that read thread the day I found these pictures...It was just like seeing our other children playing for the first time. We come to the computer at least a couple of times a day to look at these pictures. Somehow it makes us feel a little closer to him!
