We feel so blessed to let everyone know that we are going to add to our family through adoption. In Sept. 07 we saw the face of Guang Fang Feng who was in China. This sweet little face took my breath away. I could not wait to show Michael this little boy that needed a home and someone to love him. After showing the family his picture I emailed the agency and asked for more information. Sadly I received an email back stating that another family was considering him for adoption. Heartbroken, I went on about my daily activities with our kids, but continually thought about the little boy the agency was calling Jack. I remember talking about him to a friend and wondering who the lucky family was that would get to have him as there son. A month went by and one day I opened my email to find an email from the agency. It stated that his file had been opened again and that he was available for adoption. I was so excited. I emailed right back and asked for all his information. We got 3 pictures and all his history. I was totally in love with this child! He just seemed to fit our family perfectly. His birthday is October 2nd 2003 exactly 3 years and 4 days apart from Maggie Kate. He was found on April 1st, my birthday. It just seemed so meant to be. We began to pray and ask if this was right for our family. After several weeks of continual prayer we had grown to love him so much and came to the realization that yes, we have enough room in our home and love in our hearts for this little guy. We are so thankful and feel blessed beyond belief to be given this awesome opportunity to adopt. We are currently waiting for approval from China. Once we have approval I will open a blog for him with updates as we receive them.
We are all so excited and could not wait any longer to share our news. Please pray for our family as we embark on this new and exciting journey.

One more thing...I don't know what you have thought of about names, but since he is called Jack...if you wanted to keep your M tradition going, you could drop the J and add a M to call him...Mack! :-) He is such a cutie...I see why you fell in love with him!
