I can hardly believe that in a few hours we will be on a plane, heading to China to bring Max home! I think about him and wonder what he must be thinking. I know they are preparing him. I know he has had our pictures for months now to look at, but I wonder if he feels scared? The little guy has had so much loss in his first five years of life and now he is going to lose his foster family he has grown to love. I pray that his little heart is ready for his new family. I pray that he will grow to trust us and attach to us quickly. If you think about it, and wouldn't mind, please keep our family in your prayers while we travel...we would appreciate it :)
We will be flying to Beijing today. Tuesday we will fly to Guangzhou, where we will get Max!!! Yippee!!!

I am definitely thinking about you and praying for you. I am also thinking about Max because this is hard but oh so wonderful!!! I can't wait to see him in your family pictures!
You will be covered in prayers, for sure...fly safely...and write down every moment because as much as you think you will remember it all, it will become a blur kind of quickly. Take it from me...

Wow, such an adventure!! we miss you but know that you will return with a precious little boy! I have talked to the girls several times. They are doing ok, but miss you all a lot.
