We have been pumped all day because we are out of school for snow, only there is no snow??? The area we live in is notorious for that, but hey-we love it!
I have to share a funny story with you about our snow day.
Yesterday while I was cooking supper, I was watching an Oprah I had taped on my DVR. I was busy cooking and wasn't even really watching or listening, then all the sudden Mitchell screams, "No school tomorrow, No school tomorrow." I really didn't understand because there was no snow in sight and no reason for school to be out, but I went with it.
We. Were. So. Excited!
We were screaming, dancing, and the kids even called all their friends to let them know there was no school. A few minutes later Michael got home from work and the kids were telling him there was no school. Michael said where did you hear that? We said it was on TV. Mitchell even hit rewind on the remote to show him. Michael then ask us what we were watching? That's when it hit me...we were watching an Oprah show that had been taped a week or so ago! I felt so dumb! I had completely forgot we were watching a recorded show!
We went to bed bummed out! We had planned a night of fun and partying in just those few minutes we thought there was no school!!!
SO, you can imagine how thrilled we were when we got the 5AM phone call from Mama C telling us that there would be no school after all!!!
All that excitement wasn't a waste after all :):):)

That is funny! When I am watching a recored program that has a storm warning of some kind on it...Keyton gets all nervous and starts asking if we are getting bad storms!
