We had a fun, fun weekend with friends and family!
Friday, Meredith had four friends over for Homecoming at her school. It was fun!
On Saturday, they headed to the mall for some shopping. Two of them stayed for Saturday night, too. I would keep these girls forever if their mamas would let me :)
We love having these sweet girls. I am so glad Meredith has such good friends and they always include the little sisters...Mallory & Maggie :)
Lucy was brave and let Meredith cut her hair. It looked cute when she was done and Meredith LOVED it!
The most special part of our weekend was Max's blessing at church on Sunday. A blessing is something children usually get when they are newborn babies, but since we didn't have him at that time he got his Sunday. When they got finished with the blessing he shook all the men in the circles hand, then Brother Fajita leaned down to tell him something and Max kissed his cheek. He was so cute. I told him at church that this was a very special day. He got so excited and yelled really loud (during sacrament meeting), "It's a special day...no take a nap..yeah." If you remember on Christmas day we told him it was a special day so he didn't have to take a nap. I guess now anytime it's a special day -Max won't be taking a nap! :)
It was indeed a very special day... for a very special boy! We love you Max!
We can't forget our "Snapshot Sunday" photo.

And Mer, Lucy's hair looks great!
Yes Max, it was a very special day for all of us. We are so thankful that we have you in our family. We all love you so much. You have brought tons of joy and laughter into our lives in such a short time. You are such a special boy. I know that you were meant to be a part of this family. We love everything about you.We wouldn't change a thing. That big smile just warms our hearts. You have taught us so much about love. We all knew and loved you before you came. Your parents and siblings talked about you and prayed for you daily. They had pictures of you all over the house, even in the bathrooms. They discussed what they would play with you, who would get to sleep with you,who would get to sit by you in the car. They included you in all of their future plan. Now those dreams are a reality and....WE ARE NOT DISAPPOINTED! When we think of all the prayers and things that were done to get you, it just reinforces our knowledge that GOD is always in control. We have all been so blessed because of you. You are sooooo smart. You have a great future ahead of you and we are proud to be a part of it.

Wish we could've been there for Max's blessing. I've loved following your blog and falling in love with him like I'm sure everyone else who meets him has! That's so cute how he thinks that special day means no nap! What a sweetheart!
