Mitchell informed me that he has worn that same tie for 52 Sundays straight. Today is his 13th b-day and he got that tie last year a few days before his 12th b-day. He has other ties but he says they are to short...I guess he needs a new tie?!
See how little attention I give to what my kids wear. When I grew up my mom had our clothes laid out for us every night until I was prrreettyy old. We never gave her a fuss, we just put them on. I tried to do the same with Meredith when she was little but it was always an argument so- I gave up. I gave up when she went to Kindergarten and from then on I have let my kids pick out their own clothes. Yes, sometimes I wanted to die as I watched them walk into school but they felt pretty- so it didn't matter! I know there have been times when Mama C just wanted to die at the outfits my girls would come up with, but again they felt pretty- so it didn't matter. It all works out with time, now they are good at putting cute outfits together. I really think this is one of the reasons my kids have such good self esteem and why they are SO independent. For that I am grateful !
I guess I do need to pay closer attention as to when they need things like a new tie...52 Sundays...poor thing never said a word!

That is so funny! Let's see...52 Sundays...that would equal one ENTIRE year, huh? Poor Mitchell! Just kidding! He would look great if he wore it 52 MORE Sundays!
That is funny. Same thing here except Blake's wrestling shoes had a massive holes in them. I had no idea-One day he just ask if we could please get him some new shoes that he had worn these since 6th grade...I wanted to die when I saw the holes!!! Oh well what can we say-guess that stuff isn't really what is important but I'm not so sure what I am doing all the time is that important either!!!

Mithell would look so so good in anything he could wear. He is such a handsome boy. Takes after his MOM.
I think Bryce has Mitchell beat...he has been wearing the same tie for at LEAST 2 years now!! But he loves it, so I am happy!! Rosanne
