Michael Jackson Jr.
For those of you who do not know, I was a die-hard MJ fan! That is in my younger years!! When I was Mallory's age (11) I dressed up, glove and all, and danced like him. I spent hours in front of the TV watching his videos over and over to learn all his moves. I loved doing the moon walk! When we had company I would get my little red boom box out, plug it up in the kitchen, and have them watch me dance. All I wanted to do was dance :) My room was covered in with MJ posters. I even had the MJ doll!!! You can only imagine how thrilled I was when my parents got me tickets to go to one of his concerts. Those tickets were hard to get and I had one!!! Anyway, with his death it has brought back tons of childhood memories of me listening to his music and all my dancing. So guess what we have been doing around our house??? If you guessed dancing to MJ, you guessed right.! We have had MJ on for days now and all we can do is DANCE! I have had to teach all the kids how to moon walk...even Mitchell! Max tries really hard and he thinks he has it. He says "mama Max can moon walk, too" So here he is...

I found your blog through a link on another blog. Your family is just beautiful. We met our 5 year old son, Jack, just about a week after you met your son! He is from Hefei, but we have two daughters from Guangdong province, so are familiar with the Civil Affairs office there. Enjoyed reading your story!
I was a fan too, back in my day when he was part of the Jackson Five!
Seriously. You got to see him!?! I BEGGED to go when the Jacksons were in Knoxville. But no luck.
I love reading your blog...and LOL reading this...I was a Jackson fan too back in the day and still do a little dance in the car when his music comes on...it's impossible not to! Tried to do the moon walk, never could...that's so cool you got to see him!
