Meredith was honored Friday night to represent her sophomore class as the 2009 homecoming attendant. Despite the cold weather it was a fun filled day. We were invited to a nice brunch that morning, followed by a parade, then the game that night. Meredith had a wonderful time. This was extra special for Meredith because one of her best friends was the queen.
It has been fun over the past few weeks getting ready...dress shopping, practicing on hair (even though Meredith did it all herself...I didn't even touch it), doing nails, and all the other girly stuff.
We were all proud of her especially her siblings. They yelled so loudly when they saw her on the float that day and on the field that night. We all thought she looked beautiful...she was shinning inside and out!

My little Meredith....Where have the years gone? You have grown to be such a lovely young lady both inside and out. You were so beautiful coming down the street on the float. You looked like a princess, very poised and smiling in the cold and misty rain. I love you and am very proud of the young lady that you have become.

I agree that Meredith shines with beauty inside and out. She must've gotten it from her mama! I loved having her in my Sunday school class and was always so impressed with her depth and maturity. She looks so grown up and gorgeous in those pictures.
Oh Meredith you look so beautiful! Your inner and outer radiance really showed that day. It always shows but there was an extra glow that day :) I miss you and I hope you all are doing well.
