Happy Birthday Maggie Kate!!!

Maggie Kate,
You are 7! I can not believe how fast time goes by. I hope you know how special you are to me and your dad. We love you so much! I love the way you can light up a room with your smile, and the way you are so sweet, kind , and tender hearted to everyone around you . I love the way you are so strong in what you want and so determined to do whatever you set your little mind to. You are such a great example to so many people around you. I love how well you take care of your animals. I know that your dream of becoming a vet will come true someday, and you will be the best. I love your hugs and snuggles! I love when you reach out to hold my hand! I love your crocked little smile when you are not sure how I am going to respond to something you have told me. I love your honesty even when you know you have done something wrong. I love your wittiness (no one can get a joke on you) and your BIG sense of humor that you have to be such a little girl. I love how you always want to do good on your school work, you are a wonderful student. My favorite part of everyday is when I pick you up from school and you always want to be the first one in the van so you can tell me every little detail of your day. I love the way I catch you so many mornings on your knees praying before you start your day. I love the way you keep all of us in line :) When you came into this world 7 years ago on October 6, 2000 I will never forget how your brother and sisters got to be in the room while you were being delivered and they ran over to see you right when you entered this world. Your Mama C was there too, along with lots of other friends. You were so beautiful and perfect in every way. All the nurses could not believe how pretty you were. I felt your sweet spirit as soon as they put you in my arms and I knew you were special! You still have such a sweet spirit and such a love for life! You made our family feel complete. We are blessed that Heavenly Father sent you to us. You are the most beautiful 7 year old I know!
I hope you have had a wonderful day my sweet girl. Thank you for being YOU!
I love you!- Mom

Today after all the little friends left from the sleep over Maggie wanted to go eat at Chili's so she could get her favorite desert (molten chocolate cake). We also went to see The Game Plan. It was a really cute movie. Good Morning! One last party picture before they went home.
Maggie told us today that this birthday is special, but next year will be the BEST because she will get to be baptized!
I wanted to post this picture of Maggie that was taken on her birthday last year with her dogs. Age 6

The CAKE!

Yum Yum!
The girls celebrating at Chili's. Mitchell was sitting with me and Michael on the other side of the table and did not want to be in the picture.

At the end of the day before we tuck Maggie into bed we will all gather together and tell her about the day she was born. This has always been a tradition of ours and the kids all love it.

Heather, this is such a sweet story. Maggie is sooo.. cute and I am so touched by your words. Tears were welling up as I read it. You are a great mom for really taking time to enjoy the small things about your kids and writing to them is awesome. I hope I can learn from your thoughtfulness and be as good a mom as you. It is hard when things get busy to take that time but it's great that you do. You're awesome! I hope I can be more like you!
