No matter how old you are, when you wake up @ 1:30 am with a fever and chills you want your mom! I woke up Monday @ 1:30 am and was so sick. My first thought was, I wish my mom lived here so she could help me out with the kids in the morning. Nevertheless, I got up and I survived. You know there is no time for a mom to get sick!
I wanted to also post the sweet memory I had this morning. As I was in the kitchen getting the Halloween candy ready to pass out tonight the thought of my sweet little granny and her homemade popcorn balls she always made for Halloween came to mind. All through my childhood when we went trick or treating we would always go to Granny's house first. I could not wait to get my hands on her yummy treats, they were out of this world!!! Oh what I would give for one right now! The memory of those fun days growing up bring a smile to my face.

Heather, so sorry to hear that you are sick! I know what you mean. I was feeling home sick a few days ago and so wanted to fly home to be with my mom, but I had to play mommy to the ones who needed me more. My grandma made popcorn balls too. she is 92 years old and she looks wonderful and still does everything. Sad, that we cant hand out popcorn balls unless they are pre-packaged!
HEy friend, I hope you are better real soon! You forgot to blog about us changing your flat tire while you were fevering!!! I can only imagine what we looked like out there!
SLEEP! the house will wait I will help you next week get caught up!
That was pretty funny to think about the two of us trying to change that tire. Thanks friend for always being there!
