Day #2 home sick!

M#3 woke up yesterday with a temp., soar throat, and headache, so she had a day home. We went to the Dr. with the results of strep! Yuck! She was so upset to miss school. Yesterday morning her daddy brought treats of starburst, chocolate, and a ring pop home to cheer her up. Today on way home from taking the other kids to school we stopped at McD's to rent some $1 movies. We rented The Bee Movie and Nancy Drew, still she is upset about missing school! I really am glad she is so concerned about not wanting to fall behind on her school work, but I am glad to have her home in my lap watching movies! =) I remember the first time I had to miss school. I was in 4th Grade, Mrs. D's class. I started to feel bad so my dad came to get me to take me to the doctor. Sure enough it was strep! I went back to school to get my work. While I was getting my work I remember I was standing at Mrs. D's desk, in front of the whole class, and I just started crying. I did not want to leave! I guess I was afraid I would miss out on some socializing ;) unlike M#3!
