Yesterday

After picking up the younger kids, I headed to pick up Meredith along with two other kids we are carpooling with. It took 30 minutes to get to her school. The drive was actually nice though. Mallory got to tell me every little detail about her day. She was talking nonstop. Talk, talk, talk. Mitchell got a few words in, too. Then, when I finally arrived at Meredith's school, I got her and her friends. They got in and they started talking ninety to nothing. There was so much excitement in my vehicle. I loved it! Everyone wanted to tell me EVERYTHING. All the sudden from the very back we all heard Maggie Kate with her loudest voice say "I don't mean to be off subject, but if I get my agenda signed Monday through Thursday I get a treat on Fridays".

She was bound and determined to get a word in through all the talking :)
They all had a great first day, especially Meredith. She is very excited about high school!

Now I am going to be off subject..I hope you are happy...I had been AVOIDING reading any of the Twilight books because I didn't want to get all caught up in a book (or series)when I am so close to going back to teaching but I read your post about it and then called my friend to go ahead and bring her copy she has been forcing on me to tball...now I cannot even shower before 2pm each day because I keep reading all the time. I even was reading while loading the dishwasher a minute ago. So mad at you. I am only on the first one - don't tell me anything.

I can't imagine Maggie having a voice loud enough to be heard over the older girls. She's a little doll & what a cute story!
It's so hard to believe Meredith is in H.S. already!

I am so sorry ;)

I know what you mean. Those books just take you in and hold you captive until you have read them all....so good!!!
