Post from Michael

It is hard to find a Cracker Barrel here in China! Beans and cornbread aren't on any of the menu's in town...go figure! This is a picture of our traveling family at a wonderful Chinese restaurant that our guide recommended to us...can't get enough of this place. Wrestling with little Max is going to be a daily event I believe. He has more than enough energy everyday. He is a blessing to our family.
Picture of a snake juice store...if anyone from work is reading this, this is your gift for prolonged vitality and ability to think "outside-the-box" permanently! As good as China has been to my family, I am more than ready to get back to work.

This is a picture of Max reaching up to use the card to open the hotel room door...as soon as the elevator opens, he is off to the races down the hall to open the door...sound familiar Meredith, Mallory, and Maggie Kate? Mitchell has always had to be the one to open the doors and push the buttons to get onto the elevator, but he has handed this mantle down the little brother now. It is wonderful each day to see Max's personality unfold. He has personality plus! He has never met a stranger and captivates every one's heart. Each person he talks to always begins to smile after he has said something to them and then they always tell us "smart boy, very smart boy". We have seen a streak of stubbornness...Maggie Kate you have met your match!:)!

Sweet! Good to hear from Michael.

Sounds like my thoughts are right about Max. Finally Heather has one to chase! After years of her angels sitting perfect in church and mine wild as bucks...I always said you need one that will run you crazy! He sounds perfect. Can't wait to meet him! Your almost home!

Michael,
Enjoyed your blog. Blogging may just get into your system!!! Glad that you are coming home soon. We love you. It gives me such peace and joy to know that my daughter and grandchildren have such a devoted husband and father. As Tina Turner would say it ..."You're are simply the best"!!!

Love ya,

"Mama C"

He is reminding me so much of Graci! Boy was she a little whirlwind when we first got her-- and everyone was the same way-- "she's so smart and clever..." She also had a stubborn streak, and we were a bit overwhelmed--though very much in love.

She has come leaps and bounds in both the stubbornness and uncontrolled energy-- so hang in there! (:

He DOES sound like he is FULL of energy! He seems very precious and sweet though!
