Sunday-Church/Monday-Safari Park

I am going to write just going to post pictures and tell a little about our past two days because it is late and I am SO TIRED!!!
Max has discovered wrestling with ba ba and he loves it!We went to a Chinese Christian Church on Sunday. It was pretty neat. We saw a few other adoptive families there too. I think Max is going to do good in church and sit still....as long as I bring quiet toys:)

Mitchell loves hacky sack!

On Monday we went to the Safari Park. The morning started off as usual with a chuckle from Max. This morning it was a little cool and as you can see Max has shorts on. When we got into the van the driver said to Max, "You have on so little clothes aren't you cold?" Max's reply was "you have so many clothes on aren't you hot?" Our driver and guide got so cracked up at him....he is a funny kid!

Max was so funny. When he would smell something stinky this was his face.

Adam (one of the little boys we are traveling with) was a brave sole and held a python...yuck!!!

We got Max's picture with a chimp...I always wanted one of these cute little animals!!!
This one cracked us up!

He loves to wear daddy's glasses.

I love these boys!

More girls wanting their picture with Mitchell....funny!

I am so thankful for Mitchell. He is so kind to his little brother!

Max loves bananas, so he got really excited when we spotted this banana tree.

We had a fun day, but I am ready to come home. I miss my girls so much! This morning when I talked to Maggie she said they were going to pray that the week would go fast and she asked if I would pray for that, too. Yes, Maggie we are praying this week will go fast. We can't wait to see you. You, girls are in for a treat. Your new little brother is such a handful, delight, and blessing all bundled in one dynamite package!!! YOU ARE GOING TO LOVE HIM!!!

Heather, I am here with the girls this morning. We have had choc. gravy and biscuits two mornings in a row. Mallory could actually eat her weight in it. For those who aren't from rural Tn., that is like white gravy, but is made with choc. and lots of sugar and butter over hot biscuits. It is usually served at breakfast. Did I hear someone say YUK? Well, I had to make two pans this morning because Mallory ate so much that there was not enough for Aunt Paige and you know how Aunt Paige is about choc. gravy. My grandchildren love choc. gravy, and I'm am sure that Max will also. They have ordered salmon patties, green beans and mashed potatoes for tonight. This morning, I took the two younger girls back to school. For those who know me well, will tell you that if you put me in a phone booth and turned me around thre times I could not find my way out. Well, My grandchildren know that. They always have prayer before leaving home. This morning the prayer was really long. It was all about Mama C getting back home. I made it back but with a few detours.
They also prayed for the week to pass really quickly so that they coulc see Dad,Mom,Mitchell, and sweet little Max. They prayed that Max would not be sad when he had to leave China. I am so popular here when I visit. They have argued who would sleep with me. I have a feeling that that will end once Max gets here!!!! I will probably be at the bottom of the totum pole. Well , I'd better stop and see if I can find that school where I left my g.children. I only have two hours to try to find it again.
See you when you get home if I have made it back.

Stay safe and healthy and hurry home.
Mama C

Wow! Those are some of the best pictures of ya'll! :) I love the one where Max has his hood up and its kinda a close-up... LOVE IT! :)and Mitchell looks like the best big brother. Finally! He has a little brother! Sometimes I'll catch myself thinking about Max and sometimes its hard to believe that he is actually OURS! He belongs to a family now! :) It just makes me so excited. Oh and we'll have to get a new picture up on the top of our blog! I can't wait to see you guys on Saturday. I'm so anxious. Take tons and tons of pictures. Oh, and even though you're recording everything through this blog, get Mitchell to write in his journal. It'll be neat to read when he gets older. Tell everyone I love them. Call every chance you get. I love you.

Heather, You look so good. I think it's happiness and you look complete. I love the pictures of Max on your back. It is the sweetest thing.
I am missing my phone buddy. I wanted to talk to you so much today! I can't wait till your home again! Mama C and I got to talk in the car line but it was mostly making sure she and the girls were in the right place. I laughed so hard thinking of her saying she was going around the circle!!!
The girls were so sweet with her yesterday...begging her to stay!
Andrew's holding up on week 2 without his pal...to hang out with. He missed him on the campout on Friday night, but checks the blog everyday. He's planning a over nighter with Max and Mitchell when everyone gets settled in!
Love you all so much. Please be safe and we are praying for a hurry home too!
