Our Labor Day weekend

We spent our weekend in Georgia, our new home away from home. We had a great time! Our first stop was in Atlanta at the American Girl Place. Mallory and Maggie have had their eyes on these two gals since the night we sat them down and told them about our move. These dolls were their bargaining tool ;) They knew there was an AG doll place in Atlanta, and they knew we had to go through there to get to the place we were moving. So, they made a deal with us. They said the only way they would move was if they could get a new AG doll ;) Easy enough! They played all weekend and were happy little campers with their new gals.

We had a very productive weekend as far as finding our way around. We found the ward (church) we think we will move into. The kids loved, loved, loved it! I have to say, it was one of the nicest wards we have ever visited. Meredith & Mitchell both said they felt at home with the youth, which was an answered prayer for me! I have worried about those two the most! The little town is awesome, too! We all loved it and felt like it could definitely be our new home :)

This is what we woke up to each morning. The girls said their dolls loved getting up to look outside first thing each morning, and we would all have to come see them every morning. The kids and I spent our day Friday at the pool while Michael was at work. It was SO nice! We had it all to ourselves the entire day!!! Loved it!

We swam some on Monday before coming home too. The kids loved it when Michael threw them into the air so high :)

Poor Mitchell couldn't swim, so he just surfed the net.

Max thought if he got into the BIG fireplace by the pool, he would stay warm.

Meredith and Mitchell did a lot of talking and listening to music this weekend while the little girls were playing AG dolls. I love how close these two are! They have always been that way. I am so glad they have each other to lean on through this move!

We had a great time indeed. The kids didn't want to leave. They all agreed, they are finally ready for the move. They are actually excited to get there and get started with this new chapter in our lives...and SO AM I!

Which town will you live in? When are you moving?

I still can't believe that you guys are moving but I am sure it will bring many blessings to your family.

I am glad you all have made peace with this decision and are starting to get excited about it!
